PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping device capable of excellently damping vibration even if vibration acceleration of object to be damped is relatively small. SOLUTION: The damping device 22 includes a housing 24 vibrating together with a vibration part of an object to be damped, a mass member 28 provided in a floating chamber 26 of a housing so as to be floated in a vibrating direction of the vibration part, a floating clearance for floating the mass member 26 in the vibrating direction, and liquid L accommodated in the housing to impart buoyancy to the mass member 28.
