PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash lower frame harmonized with an upper frame, a vertical frame and paper sliding screens while substantially flatly forming a door lintel surface. SOLUTION: This sash lower frame substantially flatly forms an upper surface by constituting a frame body 1 for respectively storing the inner-outer paper sliding screens 2 and 3 so as to be capable of freely traveling. The lower frame 10 has a projecting inner rail 13 for allowing the inner paper sliding screen 2 to freely travel, and a projecting outer rail 14 for allowing the outer paper sliding screen 3 to freely travel. A recessed part 16 is formed of the inner rail 13 and the outer rail 14. A lower frame cover body 70 is arranged over the outer rail 14 from the inner rail 13 in the recessed part 16. A lower frame cover body 70 has an indoor side upper surface 72 opposed to a lower end part of a bottom rail 40 of the inner paper sliding screen 2 on the indoor side, and has an outdoor side upper surface 73 opposed to a lower end part of a bottom rail 40 of the outer paper sliding screen 3 on the outdoor side of the indoor side upper surface 72.
