PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily keep liquid-tightness in a tank during washing, and to easily adjust the height of a washing nozzle. SOLUTION: This tank washing apparatus 1 has the washing nozzle 6 at the tip of a hose 5, with the nozzle 6 and a part of the hose 5 inserted into the tank through an insertion port at an upper part of the tank 16, and washes the inside of the tank by jetting pressurized washing solution pressedly sent to the hose 5 through the nozzle 6. The hose 5 is slidably inserted with one end inserted in the tank. A hollow pipe 2 detachably mounted on a flange part 18 provided at the insertion port, and a seal member 4 held on the other end of the hollow pipe 2 with the hose 5 inserted into an inner hole, are provided. The hose 5 is composed of an expandable flexible hose, is expanded in the radial direction being supplied with the pressurized washing solution and pressedly brought into contact with the inner circumference of the seal member 4 and fixedly positioned to the hollow pipe 2 to keep liquid-tightness in the tank. Stop of supply of the washing solution reduces the hose 5 diameter in the radial direction to allow free sliding in relation to the hollow pipe 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
