PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher maximally effectively using wash water supplied from a water heater without elongating the washing time even if the temperature of the wash water supplied form the water heater is low. SOLUTION: This dishwater calculates the lower limit temperature of the supplied water capable of reaching a set temperature in a washing process within a washing time based on the amount of the supplied wash water, the washing time, a target wash water temperature and the heat quantity of the water heater, defines the lower limit temperature as a retained water discharge set temperature and, if the temperature of the supplied wash water is the retained water discharge set temperature or lower, discharges the supplied wash water stored in a wash water tub and stores the wash water in the wash water tub again.
