PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube holding device capable of easily performing X-ray tube positioning of the X-ray tube holding device hung from a ceiling not only from a front surface but also from a rear position and by an operation at a high position. SOLUTION: In a normal operation, the longitudinal / lateral moving and rotating operations of an X-ray tube 7 hung from the ceiling are performed by operating a front part operation panel 14 and a handle 9 and it is positioned. Also, the longitudinal / lateral moving and rotating operations of the X-ray tube 7 are performed in a comfortable posture by operating a rear part operation panel 15 and a rear part operation handle 16 while caring a patient from the rear part on the opposite side of the front part operation panel 14, and it is positioned. Also, at the time of lowering the X-ray tube 7 from the high position to a low position, the X-ray tube 7 is tentatively lowered by using the rear part operation panel 15 and the rear part operation handle 16 equipped at the lower position than the front part operation panel 14 and it is performed at the low position in the comfortable posture.
