A joint frame for the frames of doors and windows comprises a side frame and a transverse frame which is perpendicular to the side frame, wherein a L-type fixed plate is provided at the outside of the intersection of the side frame and the transverse frame, a side bolt extends from the clear opening on the vertical piece of fiE5d plate to the through hole on the side frame, then joins to the side frame bolt plate. A transverse bolt extends from the throu gh hole on the transverse piece of the fixed plate to the aperture on the side frame, then joins to the transverse frame bolt plate.
