A purifier, which treats circulating air by photocatalysis, has a light source (5, 5') that irradiates at least one wall (1, 2) coated with a photocatalytic agent and located in the path of the circulating air. The light source is associated with a photophore (8) having faces (10, 11) through which the light emerges to irradiate the coated walls. Alternatively the photophore surfaces can be in the form of a series of spaced slats. |
