A displaceable load carrying structure having a main support arrangement (3), first and second sets (4,5,6,7 and 8, 9, 10, 11) of support legs for supporting the main support arrangement (3). The support legs are vertically movable between raised and lowered positions relative to the main support arrangement and each such set of legs (4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, 9, 10, 11) is capable of displacement as a set between raised and lowered positions and displaced relative to the other set, whilst the legs of the other set (8,9,10,11 or 4,5,6,7) are in their lowered main support arrangement (3) supporting positions. The support arrangement (3) may include two side by side spaced apart main support rails (12, 13), and each main support rail may be arranged to be supported by a pair of support legs of the first set (4,5,6,7 ) and a pair of support legs of the second set (8,9,10,11). |
