PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic sheet material feeder, loading placing tables in two places with sheet materials, and feeding a sheet material with a designated surface thereof pointing the same direction into the next process even if the designated surface of the sheet material is placed on the placing surface side on the respective placing tables. SOLUTION: This feeder is adapted to automatically feed sheet materials one by one. The feeder has a first placing table for placing sheet materials having a lengthwise dimension more than designated, and a second placing table opposite to the first placing table for placing sheet materials having a lengthwise dimension more than designated. The feeder sucks the upper side of the sheet materials placed on the second placing table, reverses the upper and lower sides of the sheet material after sucking, and feeds the same from the lower side of the sheet material to the next process.
