A vehicle illumination lamp which has a plurality of light-emitting elements 24, a cylindrical lens 22 extending in a right-left direction having a rear focal line FL, the light-emitting elements being disposed rearward of the rear focal line, a plurality of reflectors 26 each having a reflecting surface having an elliptical vertical cross-sectional shape in a vertical plane perpendicular to the rear focal line, such that a first focal point of the reflecting surface corresponds to the emission centre of a corresponding light-emitting element and a second focal point A is substantially at the rear focal line. The reflecting surface may have a parabolic horizontal cross-sectional shape. The lamp may have a light control member 28a acting as a cut-off for upwardly directed light. Part of the cylindrical lens, and hence the rear focal line may be curved. |
