The invention relates to an appliance unit (1) for a low voltage switchgear. Said unit comprises a box-type housing (2) and a contact device (4) which is used to detachably connect the appliance unit (1) to fixed conductor rails. Said housing (2) comprises walls (7, 8, 9) which are at right angles to each other and comprise a through-hole (20) for introducing the contact device (4). A contact housing (14) of the contact device (14) comprises projections (19) which are arranged in two parallel lines for support against coupling forces and release forces. A space corresponding to the thickness of the rear wall (8) of the housing (2) separate said projections. A holding bridge (23) holds the contact housing (14) on the remaining fourth side of the circumference and is used as a position securing element. A terminal box cover plate (25) for connection rails of the contact device (4) is fixed in the housing (2) of the appliance unit (1) by means of holding tongues (28). |
