The stand has a system driving in rotation a crankshaft (2) of a connecting rod assembly, and a loading system acting on a connecting rod (3) of the rod assembly. The crankshaft is rotatably mounted by two bearings on a mounting part fixed on the stand. Bottom of the rod is rotatably mounted on a crank pin (21) of the crankshaft through a bearing of the crank pin. Top of the rod is mounted rotating on a shackle of the loading system.
