The device has a light source disposed in a housing of a reflector for emitting a light beam, and a motor to rotate a rotating plate between an active position in which the plate intercepts the beam and a passive position in which it does not intercept the beam. A case (201) has a compartment (205) to receive the motor. A lens support maintaining lens is integrated to the reflector. The case and support form a monoblock casting (200). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle equipped with a headlight device.
