The shock absorber is equipped with a piston and a piston rod comprising an axial fluid duct and a lateral fluid bore connecting the duct with the space surrounding the piston rod. When pressure is applied on an inner pipe (23) provided with a serrated lower edge (231) its teeth act on three radial projections (251) at the lower segment of a rotating pipe (25) causing them to engage with the larger teeth (241) and slots (242) positioned at the lower edge of a locking pipe (24). The locking pipe (24) is moved towards a plunger pushing its conical tip downwards and facilitating the fluid to enter the space surrounding the piston rod.
