The grommet for a motor vehicle bulkhead is mounted in a hole (13) in the bulkhead (10) between the engine and passenger compartments. The grommet is elastic with a peripheral groove (2) to mach the diameter of the hole (13). The grommet has two circular flanges (3,4) to cooperate with the two faces of the bulkhead. The grommet has a central bore (5) to receive a wiring bundle (8).
