The method of locating tremor foci in single-stratum horizontally-positioned deposits consists in determining epicentre location of particular tremor foci by the known method, by means of a network of mine seismic stations, located outside the focal zone. It is characterised in that an additional measuring station (DS) with defined coordinates (Xs, YS) in the focal zone (S0) of the exploitation field (Pe), where there appear tremor foci (O1-On). By means of a triaxial vibration sensor, the station registers component vibrations for any tremor focus (On). The component vibrations are used to determine - by the azimuth method - the direction (α n), from which the seismic wave generated in a given focus (On) reaches the additional station (DS). Or else, the above-mentioned component vibrations are used to determine the distance (Rn) between the tremor focus (On) and the measuring station (DS) by the known method of time differences between the occurrence of the longitudinal wave P and the transverse wave S. Then, the localization of the hypocentre (XOn, YOn, ZOn) of the tremor focus (On) is determined as the point of intersection of the straight line (LDs) - which goes from the location point (Xs, YS) of the additional measuring station (DS) at the angle (αn), identified when determining the direction, from which the seismic wave generated in the tremor focus (On) reaches the additional measuring station (DS) - and the line (LOn), which is perpendicular to the plane of the exploitation field (Pe), going through the location point (Xs, Ys) of the tremor epicentre (On). The above-mentioned straight line (LDs) runs in the plane determined by the location point (Xs, Ys) of the additional measuring station (DS) and the above-mentioned line (LOn), perpendicular to the plane of the exploitation field (Pe). Or else, the location of the hypocentre (XOn, YOn, ZOn) of the tremor focus (On) is determined as the point of intersection between the above-mentioned line (LOn), perpendicular to the plane of the exploitation field (Pe), running through the point (XOn, YOn)... |
