The support has an elongated body (11) and three rows of teeth extending from a lower side of the body. A housing (L1) receiving an edge of a folder is defined between the teeth (31a-31c, 32a-32d) of two rows to assemble the support on the folder. A housing (L2) receiving an edge of an adjacent folder is defined between teeth (32a-32d, 33a-33b) of one of two rows and the third row for continuously positioning the adjacent folders. An independent claim is also included for a hanging file folder having a label support.
