PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for kneading a thermosetting resin which can uniformly disperse a solid rubber component into a thermosetting resin in the absence of a solvent while shortening the kneading time. SOLUTION: The method of kneading a thermosetting resin comprises kneading a kneaded product m obtained in a step M of kneading a curing agent and a liquid thermosetting resin and a mixture n obtained in a step N of mixing a solid rubber 202 with a solid thermosetting resin 203, and in the step M, the curing agent in the form of powder and the liquid thermosetting resin are kneaded and in the step N, the solid rubber 202 and the solid thermosetting resin 203 have been frozen, respectively, then pulverized into powder, and mixed. In the step of kneading the kneaded product m and the mixture n, while the kneading objects are wound on the kneading roll 311, convected, and replaced by channels 315, the mixture n is continuously quantitatively supplied to one side of the kneading roll 311 and kneaded, and the kneaded product m is continuously quantitatively supplied in the middle section and kneaded with the kneaded mixture n.
