PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device which indicates remaining distance to the next guide intersection by looking at a photographed image. SOLUTION: By photographing the image in front of own car with a camera and the photographed image is indicated on a display monitor. Then, the distance from the own car to the next guide intersection is calculated. Based on the distance, a remaining distance scale 20 is indicated overlapping the photographed image indicated on the display.
