摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure received power from a satellite at a terminal side in a system in which a ground base station communicates with a terminal via the satellite, to calculate transmission power at the terminal by using the received power and the orbit information of the satellite, and to control the transmission power at the terminal side without applying any load to the satellite and the base station. SOLUTION: The terminal 2 comprises a satellite orbit information calculator 2e for enabling communication with the ground base station via the satellite and calculating the orbit information of each satellite; an antenna control unit 2b for searching a satellite that can be tracked based on the calculated satellite orbit, and controlling an antenna 2i so that at least two searched satellites can be simultaneously tracked; a received power calculator 2a for calculating the received power from the satellite to be tracked; and a transmission power calculation section 2h for calculating the transmission power at the terminal 2 based on the satellite orbit information and the received power.
