PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste heat recovery device capable of enhancing the recovery efficiency of heat energy to increase the amount of power generation by suitably using a heat pump for heat transfer for converting heat energy in exhaust gas into electric energy. SOLUTION: The waste heat recovery device 1 is provided with a heating part 11, and a thermoelectric conversion module 3 is mounted to the heating part 11. The heat of exhaust gas recovered by the heating part 11 is transferred to the thermoelectric conversion module 3 to perform thermoelectric conversion. A heat recovery part 12 is provided downstream in the flow direction of exhaust gas of the heating part 11, and a heat pipe 10 is provided between the heat recovery part 12 and the heating part 11. Heat not recovered in the heating part 11 is recovered in the heat recovery part 12 and supplied to the heating part 11 through the heat pipe 10 and further transferred to the thermoelectric conversion module 3 for thermoelectric conversion.
