<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system suitable as a conference support tool for supporting progress of a conference itself, and to provide a pointer apparatus, a multi-pointer, a projector image display method, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: Pointers P1, P2, ..., separated by color are held by attendants, respectively. Positional information of the pointer when the attendant performs pointing on a screen 3 is acquired and transmitted to a projector 1 together with pointer identification information, etc. The projector 1 decodes reception data, calculates a display coordinate, on the basis of the amount of change in the positional information, and projects a point image 5 with a color being the same as that of the pointer on the screen 3.
