<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify easily an arbitrary position in data developed on a time axis. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of operation buttons in which numerical values of -30 to +30 are given discontinuously for respective units of "minute", "second", and "GOP" are arranged at GUI used for edition of animation data. This numerical value indicates movement quantity by which an in-point and an out-point are moved relatively from the present position. A user can perform intuitively rough and detail specification of time based on a unified operation system by using such an operation button.
