<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a processing range by forceps inside the body relating to a treatment tool for a medical purpose such as the forceps, scissors, a curette and a suction tube. <P>SOLUTION: The treating implement for the medical purpose is provided with a processing part (2) and a base part (3) respectively on the tip and rear end of a shaft part (1), a flexible joint (4) for connecting the processing part (2) to the shaft part (1) so as to make a swing action on a plane possible is provided, the base part (3) is provided with a swing operation part (17), and transmission cords (26a, 26b) are disposed between the swing operation part (17) and the processing part (2). In the case of inserting the shaft part (2) into the body of a patient, the swing operation part (17) of the base part (3) is operated and the processing part (2) is swung at the part of the flexible joint (4).
