<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize blood blockage in a search unit in a vas and to reduce an image artifact and an indistinct image. <P>SOLUTION: A system and a method are used for the search unit, and an autologous expansion-type housing (74) is manufactured to make it possible that the fluid flow in the inside is passed through and it is inserted into the image subject. The housing (74) is attached with plural RF (radio-frequency) coils (76) to collect MR (magnetic resonance) data. Gate control can be done to the data collection in order to obtain high resolution imaging by using the known movement of the RF coils for tracking the movement of the RF coils, and this is advantageous to movements of the RF coils in a beating heart and/or in a pulsing blood flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
