<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable golf ball cleaner by which a ball can be cleaned anytime during playing golf. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaner is provided with an opening part B on the upper part of this apparatus body A and a discharging part C on the lower part to retain a golf ball G thrown in from the opening part B. A cleaning member E is set on a retaining part F to retain the golf ball G on the cleaning member E of the retaining part E and the golf ball G is cleaned by manual rotation work. Soil on the golf ball G, chips of lawn, contamination etc. can be discharged through the discharging part C by the manual rotation work.
