<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic deodorizer capable of reducing the noise while maintaining the advantages of a discharge type photocatalyst, and a toilet deodorizer capable of maintaining the high capability for deodorization for a long period of time and removing bacteria as well. <P>SOLUTION: Air including odor components and volatile organic compounds in the interior is sucked into an air channel 4 inside a casing 1 from an intake 2 by a fan motor 5, and after dust, etc. in the air is removed through a rough pre-filter 20 and a fine pre-filter 21, the air is fed to a photocatalytic device 6. The odor components, etc. in the air are decomposed by a photocatalyst 12 and ozone in the photocatalytic device 6. The unreacted residual ozone is decomposed by an ozone decomposing catalyst 8 to be discharged as oxygen from an outlet 3 together with air without odor components.
