<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a domestic electric appliance having illegal abandonment preventive function by adapting the electric appliance to be operated only when a user makes a registration in using the electric appliance first, and registering information of the user to the electric appliance before use, so that the user can be easily found even if the user illegally abandons it, thereby inviting the suppression of illegal abandonment to the user and preventing the illegal abandonment. <P>SOLUTION: Information from a noncontact IC tag 1 storing information and providing a stored content according to a fetching request of the stored information is received by an information reading means 2, the operation of the appliance is controlled according to information preliminarily programmed by a control means 5, the information of the user is registered in an information storage means 3, and whether the information read by the reading means 2 is matched to a predetermined condition for the information registered in the information storage means 3 or not is collated by a collation means 4.
