PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: when a paper money dispenser generates an error by remaining of a bill in a customer reception part or a temporary storage part during a transaction of a customer, an attendant cannot immediately decide whether the remaining bill is 'a possession of a financial institution or the like' or 'a possession of the customer' to result in a cause of trouble with the customer. SOLUTION: This paper money dispenser comprises the customer reception part, a discrimination part, the temporary storage part, a denomination-classified cash box, and a reject storage or the like. In the paper money dispenser, the respective units are connected by a carrying path. At least the customer reception part and the temporary storage part are provided with remaining sensors, two kinds of LED lamps having different colors are respectively disposed in visible positions of the respective parts, and it is displayed by the LED lamps whether the remaining bill in the customer reception part or the temporary storage part is 'the possession of the customer' or 'the possession of the financial institution or the like' in time of the error in money payment or money reception, by a matrix of a predetermined blink specification of the LED lamps.
