PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a person animation creation system enabling direct creation or editing of a person animation, and to provide a user interface therefor. SOLUTION: This person animation creation system has: an input means for displaying a menu comprising words expressing movement of a person character made to be animated on a display device screen, and making a user select it; and movement generation means for creating the animation of the person character expressing the movement corresponding to a selected item in the input means. The selected items in the menu include a target portion imparted with the movement, a movement direction, a time during which the movement is performed, an amplitude of the movement, and a nuance of the movement. The items are converted into a numerical data set including a rotating joint and a rotational axis, start time of the movement, a time spent in the movement, an angle after movement of the joint, and the nuance of the movement.
