PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel filter more reduced in cost and mass than before. SOLUTION: (1) This fuel filter 10 for permitting fuel of an internal combustion engine to filter has a fuel filter body 20 and a fixing part 30 for fixing the fuel filter body 20 to a car body or a bracket on a car body side provided to the car body and is constituted so that only the fixing part 30 is damaged under predetermined load when external force is applied to the fuel filter body 20. (2) The fixing part 30 is equipped with an insertion part 31 capable of being inserted in the car body or the bracket on the car body side.
