Mechanical structure measuring data detecting method involves using a continuous tone in an ultrasonic range. The continuous tone is transmitted in direction of an object to be tested, where a signal reflected by the object is received for evaluation of vibration of the object. Difference of frequency between the transmitted tone and reflected signal is detected. Period lengths between the transmitted tone and reflected signals are compared.
