<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the energy-saving performance of an air-cleaning appliance by controlling a wasteful consumption of discharging power due to an excessive treatment capacity relative to the amount of ingredients treated in streamer discharging. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge-controlling section 63 is disposed in an electric-source means 45 of a discharging device 40 for streamer discharging, so that the discharging power of the discharging device 40 can be decreased or increased by the discharge-controlling section 63 according to the amount of ingredients treated in an air-cleaning appliance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
