<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shift control device for a hybrid car, relaxing restrictions on shift operation and improving transmission follow-up property in the case that sudden gear shift is required when travelling in a continuously variable shift mode. <P>SOLUTION: In the hybrid car provided with a driving force synthesizing transmission TM into which an engine E and motor MG1, MG2 are inputted, and having as a travelling mode, the continuously variable shift mode obtaining a limitless gear ratio and a fixed shift mode obtaining a fixed gear ratio by fastening of a friction fastening element, a shift assist control means is provided which makes the friction fastening element fastened in the fixed shift mode in a semi-fastened state so as to promote a change in the gear ratio approaching a target gear ratio when travelling in the continuously variable shift mode and requiring sudden gear shift. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
