<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the processing time in a printer in a print system comprising a computer and the printer. <P>SOLUTION: In the computer 10, an application part 10 accepts a print instruction for a document file from a user or the like. A data conversion part 12 converts the document data of the print object to video data for image formation in the printer 20. A data output part 13 outputs the video data to a flash memory card M or the like. In the printer 20, a data input part 21 accepts the video data from the flash memory card M or the like. A controller part 22 supplies the video data to a print engine part 23.
