PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean a blowout port even in a state that guard wires are mounted on the blowout port for preventing fingers and a hand from being inserted from the blowout port and injured by a blower in a unit.

SOLUTION: This indoor unit 1 of the air conditioner comprises horizontal louvers 9 for changing and controlling the blowing-out direction of the air in the vertical direction, and vertical louvers 10 for changing and controlling the blowing-out direction in the lateral direction, on its air blowout port 4. The plurality of louvers 10 are laterally arranged on the air blowout port 4 in a state that the plurality of guard wires 13 penetrated through the vertical louvers are integrally mounted, and the vertical louvers are detachably mounted on the air blowout port 4.
