PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction motor for eliminating an influence on an electrical characteristic of the motor and efficiently conducting heat generated by a rotor to ambient air. SOLUTION: The induction motor is provided with a stator for mounting a stator winding, a frame in which the stator is directly fitted to an inner circumference, a load-side bracket and a opposite load-side bracket attached to both sides of the frame, a rotor having a rotational shaft rotatably supported through a bearing and the load-side and opposite load-side brackets, and an insulative material for covering an outer circumference of the rotor.
