PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the accelerating of an operation speed, improving of an EMI property or the like by transmitting at high speed an LD modulated signal for driving semiconductor laser (LD) to an LD driving portion. SOLUTION: There is provided a small amplitude differential signal output unit 130 at an output side of an LD modulated signal generating portion 120 for generating the LD modulated signal from image data. There is provided a small amplitude differential signal input unit 160 at an input side of an LD driving portion 170 for driving a semiconductor (LD) 190 on the basis of the LD modulated signal. The LD modulated signal is converted to a small amplitude differential signal and is transmitted from the LD modulated signal generating portion 120 side to the LD driving portion 170 side. Furthermore, there is taken an impedance matching including the small amplitude differential signal output unit 130, the small amplitude differential signal input unit 160 and a transmission path.
