PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a proper equalization processing, of which a distortion or ISI is considered from an output waveform of an FFF while satisfying the law of causality by using FDTS/Viterbi decoding, etc., and its result. SOLUTION: The equalization which includes a PR response and distortion at only a first portion of ISI of the equalized waveform so as to satisfy the law of causality by the FFF of a preceding stage and does not consider a trailing edge ISI subsequent to the PR response, is carried out, and the distortion at the PR portion and the response of trailing edge ISI are generated in an FBF by using a judgment result of the decoding device, and by subtracting it from an output of the FFF delayed in the amount of a judged delay.
