PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web cutting device capable of carrying a product along a regular product carrying passage even where the product is cut by a cutter roll and an anvil roll from a web having curling tendency. SOLUTION: In a carrying passage for a gathered web W<SB>0</SB>formed by combining a plurality of webs W<SB>1</SB>, the cutter roll 10 and the anvil roll 11 are provided to cut the gathered web W<SB>0</SB>in prescribed length to form the product A. A brush roll 13 is provided at an upper part of the outer circumference of the anvil roll 11, and the brush roll 13 is rotated in contact in the same direction to the anvil roll 11. A tip part of the gathered web W<SB>0</SB>after passing between the cutter roll 10 and the anvil roll 11 is curled downward to move along an upper part of the outer circumference of the anvil roll 11, when the tip part of the gathered web W<SB>0</SB>is sprang up up by the brush roll 13 to be sent in between a pair of an upper and a lower paper feed belts 12a and 12b. The gathered web W<SB>0</SB>is then cut by the cutter roll 10 and the anvil roll 11, thereby the product A is prevented from being discharged out of the route of the regular carrying passage.
