STRETCH LABEL ATTACHING TOOL, AND ATTACHING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch label attaching tool which allows a stretch label to be set at a given position on a container easily and precisely without damaging the stretch label even if the container is rectangular. SOLUTION: The stretch label attaching tool comprises tabular sliding contact members (A member) 13 which are relatively soft and bendable and can be brought in sliding contact with the outer surface of the container, opening/closing members 15 each of which has a shape capable of encircling a part of the container on the outer surface thereof and can be opened/closed inward and outward, adaptors (B members) 19 each of which holds one A member 13 and a label press member 17 capable of pressing and widening the stretch label from inside upon opening of the opening/closing member 15, and a frame member (C member) 21 which has an inner shape almost the same as the outer shape of the container so as to house the container with a proper room and holds two left/right B members 19 so that they can open/close.
