PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stimulation-responsive hydrogel having a high strength at break, excellent stimulation-responsive functions and excellent stability with time. SOLUTION: The stimulation-responsive hydrogel gelling by absorbing water and swelling, and changing the degree of the swelling and the volume by the stimulation contains a water-insoluble polymer in a phase-separated structure.
