PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyolefin composition having high transparency and slight in odor emission, and to provide a clearing agent for obtaining the composition. SOLUTION: The clearing agent for polyolefin resin consists of an alkyl tetrahydronaphthyl-substituted sorbitol-based compound having a specific structure.
