PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire-rod rolling system in which defective rolled products are easily removed by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In the wire-rod rolling system, the intermediate product of a base stock is finished into a wire rod of the final product with a finishing train 18 of the final stage by rolling the base stock step by step when the base stock is conveyed along a feeding route 12. The finishing train 18 is provided with a block mill 28, a cooling device 38, a precision finishing mill 30 and a recovering device 42 which is arranged between the cooling device 38 and the precision finishing mill 30 and with which the defective rolled intermediate product passed through the cooling device 38 is recovered from the conveying route 12.
