ANTI REFLECTION FILM, POLARIZER USING IT, PICTURE DISPLAY DEVICE USING THEM, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ANTI REFLECTION FILM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti reflection film whose reflectivity is low and excellent in anti-scratching property, antifouling property and durability, and to provide a polarizer and a picture display device using the anti reflection film.

SOLUTION: In an anti reflection film containing a low refractive index layer formed by applying at least a component for forming the low refractive index layer on a transparent support, the component for forming the low refractive index layer contains at least either of the hydrolyzate of organic Cyril compound shown by the following general formula (1) and its partial condensate, and the center line surface roughness Ra of the outermost surface of the anti-reflection film is 0.005 to 0.30 μm. In general formula (1):R11mSi(X11)n, X11expresses -OH, halogen atom, -OR12group or -OCOR12. R11expresses an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, R12expresses an alkyl group. m+n is 4, and m and n are respectively positive integers.
