<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure superior in a mechanical strength of the out side wall and a forming defect such as a twist, a distortion or the like of a partition wall is effectively protected. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb structure 1 is provided with a cylindrical cell structure part 2 in which a plurality of cells 6 to be a path way for a fluid are formed as partitions by a porus partition wall 4 and the outside wall part 3 arranged at the outer periphery of the cell structure part 2, and the outside wall part 3 is constructed by two or more of the out side walls 5 with a hollow cylindrical shape laminated in the radius direction of the cell structure part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
