<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive device for detecting a unique word for taking frame synchronization in a communication system employing TDMA. <P>SOLUTION: A shift register has a value of most significant bit which is in relation of logical NOT with the value of a bit being transmitted at first in the bit pattern of a unique word being detected as an initial value, converts the received data from series data to parallel data in synchronism with a received data clock synchronous with the received digital data and then outputs parallel received data. A comparator compares the bit between the output signal from the register, i.e. the parallel received data, and the output signal from a unique word register storing the bit pattern of a unique word to be received, i.e. selected unique word data, and outputs a unique word detection signal only when the bit pattern matches entirely between the parallel received data and the unique word data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
