<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aroma diffusing container for naturally diffusing volatile oil , thereby healing feeling, and a method. <P>SOLUTION: An aroma diffusing device 11 has a wind-bell shape which includes an aroma diffusing container 13 for diffusing aroma by volatilizing volatile oil 12, a suspending thread 14 for suspending the aroma diffusing container 13, and Japanese paper 15 suspended below the aroma diffusing container 13. The aroma diffusing container 13 has a spherical storage container 16 made of a transparent polyethylenenaphthalate resin, and a permeable thread 17 connecting the storage container 16 and Japanese paper 15. At the center of the bottom of a container body 21, a lower insertion hole 26 through which the permeable thread 17 is passed is formed, and a tubular 27 erecting from the peripheral edge of the lower insertion hole 26 is arranged. The tubular is extended to the height of the upper edge of the container body 21. The permeable thread 17 is suspended from the bottom of the container body 21 after once extended up beyond the waterline of the volatile oil 12.
