摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical disk substrate by which the optical disk substrate free from warpage and distortion and having satisfactory surface properties can be obtained and the substrate having a planar shape, a non-planar shape and also a shape having reversely tapered angle can be manufactured precisely without needing a stamper. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the optical disk substrate is composed of a step for forming a plurality of successively layered sectional surface layers comprising; a step for curing a liquid resin to form a first cross sectional layer having a contour by performing irradiation for curing generated in response to three dimensional shape data on a operation surface on a rotatable supporting table; a step for controlling a liquid surface on the first cross sectional layer by moving all the first cross sectional layer to a liquid resin vessel or supplying always the liquid resin; and a step for returning the first cross sectional layer toward the operation surface to a prescribed position, forming a second cross sectional layer to the operation surface by irradiation for curing and adhesively sticking the second cross sectional layer to the first cross sectional layer, in an information recording medium wherein recording/reproduction of information is performed by changing optical characteristics by irradiation with an optical beam.
