PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input a target application without excess operation even when simultaneously operating a plurality of applications. SOLUTION: A communication terminal has: an input device group 11 comprising a key device or the like; an input device management part 12 holding hardware information about a usable input device, and converting an input from the input device into an input event capable of being interpreted by an event management part 13; the event management part 13 requiring the start-up and stop of the application to an application management part 15 by sorting the input event to the application and the input event; a sorting rule storage part 14 storing an event sorting rule of each the application; the application management part 15 performing the start-up and stop of the application by a requirement from the event management part 13, and grasping the state of each the application; and the plurality of applications 16 each providing a prescribed function on the communication terminal.
